2018 National Competition

Our crew spent two weeks in Copper Mountain, Colorado filming USASA’s 2018 Nationals. The project, our largest commitment yet, consisted of a 34-hour round trip drive, 36” of fresh snowfall, and a peak elevation of 12,313 ft. Each element brought unique challenges for our crew – including, no one on our team had skied before.

Our preparations started a year in advance with three trips to Southeast Indiana’s Perfect North Slopes and a weekend trip to Steamboat Ski Resort in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. With time to prepare, our eyes were glued to the tv during the 2018 Winter Games in PyeongChang, South Korea, and our time was spent scouring the internet for renowned snowboard and ski documentaries.

While on location our team shot for a total of six videos, including branded promotional content, pipeline overviews, event recaps, and snackable social media videos.

Our crew had the chance to interview some of the industries biggest competitors and fan favorites.
